48 Hours in Edinburgh

This weekend I booked Ronan and I a trip down to Edinburgh for his 21st Birthday, he took me to Paris and I took him to Edinburgh, same difference right?!

We hopped on the Megabus from Aberdeen, I say hopped it was more of a vaguely distressed amble because I hate bus travel but I'm also extremely poor so... The journey was as dull as anticipated but three hours later we arrived in the capital...

Our check in wasn't until 4.00pm so we started with a stroll down to Stockbridge, for a coffee and a stroll around the winding lanes and pretty houses. Then we checked in to the hotel which was so beautiful with the most gorgeous pastel walls, marble accents and a very Scandinavian simplistic furniture vibe.

After wandering around the dreamy apartment we headed over to Harvey Nichols so I could drool over the shoes and Ronan could pick up a new wallet, can't beat some designer browsing... We also stopped for some lunch at Burr and Co. one of my fav Edinburgh coffee haunts.

We then headed back to the hotel where they gave us some complimentary drinks for Ronans Birthday which is always appreciated! We then ordered some pizza from Mammas Pizza in Edinburgh which is an old favorouite of mine...

Then we got dressed and headed out to The Kings Theatre to see The Weir which I enjoyed but was a little underwhelmed by. My top is Missguided, Jeans are Topshop and Heels are Kurt Geiger. We wandered home via Princes Street and stumbled across the most beautiful light display for the Lumen festival.

Then we snuggled up in the apartment and watched some Netflix on the Apple TV before falling sound asleep.

Saturday morning we woke early and went for a final stroll of Edinburgh before I headed home and Ronan headed to the Rugby match. We wandered around Grassmarket and The Royal Mile before having breakfast at The Ivy and parting ways. These pancakes were the best thing I've eaten in a while - show stopping.

Thanks for Reading!
