Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick - Review

Recently I was lucky enough to be gifted five shades from Rimmel's new Stay Matte Liquid lipsticks to review. I'm such a fan of liquid lipsticks as I love the matte long wearing finish they give, and these ones by Rimmel are no exception.

Be My Baby
A beautiful warm nude shade, this shade is a little bit streaky and needs a lip liner to be completely opaque - a very easy go to nude.

Another really easy to wear pinky nude, this lipstick is very pigmented and lasts very well and only begins to flake after eating - very smooth and easy to apply.

Rose & Shine
My favorouite shade of the bunch, a deep muted purple/pink. I love wearing this each day and it lasts so well, I do need to re-touch it after eating however I've never found  a liquid lipstick that does stay put after eating - if you know of one let me know!

Fire Starter
A gorgeous warm toned red shade, very opaque and long lasting - best worn with a lipliner for better longevity.

Pitch Black
As you can see from the first photo I'm not a big fan of black lipstick, it makes my lips look thinner and is very difficult to apply neatly. That being said however if black lipstick is your thing this one is long lasting and highly pigmented but I would 100% recommend a lip liner as it's very difficult to apply neatly.

Overall I love these liquid lipsticks and I really feel they're comparable to higher end liquid lipsticks, I'd highly recommend Rose & Shine in particular as its such a beautiful unique shade which I can see working on a wide variety of skin tones.

Thanks for Reading,
