Date Night - Bob Bob Ricard

Once again I had Ro join me down in London and so we decided to go on an amazing date night to Bob Bob Ricard. I've known about this restaurant for a few years due to the iconic 'push for champagne' button, and upon looking further I fell in love with the ambience, food and of course the champagne list...

The Food

Well as soon as we got there, there was no way I wasn't going to 'ring for champange' so I started the evening with the most beautiful glass of Moët Brut Imperial.
I then had the baked oysters to start, and they were divine very rich and creamy with truffle and parmesan, they acted as the perfect start to a delicious meal.
 
Next I had the fish pie, now tell me you've seen a pie more beautiful than this! It's practically a work of art, I felt bad cutting it open.. but not for long because the pie was predictably amazing filled to the brim with haddock, prawns and mussels and accompanies with seasonal greens which were the perfect fresh accompaniment to another beautifully rich dish. 
The desert was the most beautiful end to an insanely good meal, sour cherry soufflè a beautiful sweet airy sponge with raspberry sorbet.

The Restaurant

This is hands down the nicest restaurant I've ever been to, from the service to the food itself. I can't recommend anywhere more for a romantic meal in London, I felt like I was in a 1920's dream the whole time although I suppose the company was probably part of the reason...
