Current Faves

February has been on of the best months of my life so far, I seriously feel like 2017 is my year - seriously nothing is going wrong so far (touch wood!) so here are some of my highlights from the month.

Notting Hill in the sun, recently London has been so beautifully warm and sunny and strolling around Notting Hill where I work is an absolute dream in the sun. The colourful houses really stand out and look extra bright, the cherry blossom trees begin to bloom into frothy cotton candy and all the local restaurants and cafes open their outdoor seating - the perfect way to people watch. I've also been lucky enough to have Ronan up to visit and exploring London is even more fun with him, I love showing him all my fave spots in Notting Hill.

THESE River Island loafers, I can't believe they were only £30! And they are such a great affordable alternative to the Gucci ones. I love the contrast between the feminine floral embroidery and the masculinity of the crocodile leather and horsebit fastening, the perfect summer transitional shoe. Im trying to only buy clothes which I really love from now on as I think it's so easy to buy loads of clothes on impulse and only ever wear them once which is such a waste.

Dum Dum Doughnuts, in Box Park Shoreditch they make the most amazing 'Cronuts' a croissant and doughnut hybrid which tastes just as good as it sounds! I got the Zebra which was made up of hundreds of layers of chocolate and vanilla dough and then filled with vanilla and chocolate cream - divine. Billie went for the Nutella flavour which was just as good, it was layers upon layers of chocolate and hazelnut flavoured dough with a Nutella filled centre. If you visit I'd suggest arriving early as by 4pm they didn't have many left - they taste that good that they fly off the shelf.

T2 Watermelon Sorbet tea, I'm not the biggest tea drinker but I saw this flavour while browsing in the Westfield T2 store and I couldn't resist. It has real pieces of candied watermelon as well as fresh mint leaves and I've never had such an amazing fruity tea, it can also be enjoyed cold as an iced tea but I'll wait until its a bit sunnier for that! It is a loose leaf tea so needs to be made using a mesh metal ball, but I definitely think loose leaf packs more of a flavour punch than your standard tea bag - next on my T2 list is the Creme Brulèe tea, a sweet tooths dream!

Charlotte Tilbury 'Secret Salma' lipstick, the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are my absolute faves especially the matte finish ones as they aren't at all drying but still last really well on the lips. The gorgeous rose gold packaging and quirky names add to the charm of the products, as does the beautifully glamorous feel of the beauty boutiques products are purchased from.

Glam Glow facemask, this mask seriously saves my skin whenever its acting up I apply a thick layer of this, leave it on for 20 mins and the next day my skin is dramatically better. It's pretty pricey but at £15 for the travel size pots in Boots mine has lasted a good 5 applications and I'm certain I can scrape another two uses before its finished!
Baker Boy caps, I've not had one of theres since I was an incredibly awkward 8 year old who's mum assured them a baby pink felt cap with a rhinestone trim looked incredibly chic... But now the plain black style helps to transform any causal outfit onto something that looks a lot more put together. I seriously need to get more into accessorising as the perfect accessory can turn any look from zero to hero.

Riverdale, everyone and their dog seems to have been watching Riverdale on Netflix - and not one to be left out, and upon hearing it was a mix of Gossip Girl and Twin Peaks, I just had to watch. It's a really easy fun watch with plenty of twists and turns to keep you hooked, plus itss always nice to have Cole Sprouse back on screen - ultimate eye candy since the early noughties...

Thanks for Reading,
Let me know what your recent faves have been!
