Chelsea, Chelsea tell me you love me

I can't believe it's been 2 MONTHS since I last wrote a blog post, I've been so so busy with uni exams and moving to London for an internship at Julien MacDonald, blog post coming on that soon! But I'm back at it now and can't wait to update you all with all the exciting things I get up to while I'm in London.

I thought I'd write a post about Hazel and I exploring a few ares around Chelsea last Saturday, Hazels blog is also linked so be sure to check her out...

Notting Hill

I work in Notting Hill so I'm starting to get to know the area pretty well, and I love it. The buildings are all beautiful candy colours and it has the most beautiful cafes and little shops so I thought I'd bring Hazel with me to explore. We started by having brunch at Farm Girl, a lovely chill cafe just off Portobello Road, which serves amazing healthy, organic food - it was even nice enough weather for us to sit outside in their beautiful courtyard.

Next up we had a stroll along Portobello Road market, definitely pretending to be in the film 'Notting Hill' sadly though Hugh Grant was nowhere to be seen... We did pick up some adorable matching pom pom hats though, which was lucky because it started to rain right after that!
Then we stopped and looked at some of the cute flower stalls that Notting Hill is known for, cue a mini photoshoot - we are bloggers after all...

Sloane Square

Finally we took the underground to Sloane Square, and had cake and coffee at Peggy Porschen the most stunning pink cake parlour with rows upon rows of perfect looking cakes, cupcakes and macaroons - a sweet tooth's dream. I went with rose and lemon cake and a vanilla latte while Hazel had a strawberries and cream cupcake with cloudy lemonade.
We were originally going to head over to the Saatchi Gallery but unfortunately it was closed by the time we got there so instead we explored all the beautiful houses in Sloane Square and had a bit of an explore - its such a beautiful area but be prepared for major house envy!
Thanks for Reading,
I'll definitely be a lot more regular with blog posts from now on!
