Curent Favourites

Over the past couple of months I've found a few products which have really stood out for me, so heres a pretty random mix of my fave things from the past few months...enjoy!

Charlotte Tilbury lipstick
- Bond Girl
L-R Charlotte Tilbury - Bond Girl, Lime Crime - Cashmere
I was lucky enough to receive this lipstick as a valentines gift from Ryan this year and I've got to say the boy did good - he picked the perfect shade and proved he clearly listens when I ramble about make up! First of all the rose gold packaging is stunning and has a seriously luxurious feel to it, very vintage inspired, but my fave thing about the lipstick is the shape of the bullet, it really allows you to get an easy and smooth application without 'colouring outside the lines'. Its a matte finish but isn't drying at all which is a blessing for my poor chapped lips in the winter months... So overall a gold star for the lipstick and a gold star to Ryan for choosing it!

Lime Crime liquid lipstick
 - Cashmere
I HAVE WANTED THIS LIPSTICK FOR SO SO LONG. Finally it was restocked on Love Make-up and I snapped it up, and I have no regrets! The whole 'greige' (grey/beige) lips trend is pretty big right now and I love the way it adds a hint of grunge to any look. The formula is a little drying but I find if I apply a lip balm before and after use theres no chapped lips so its all good! The packaging of the lipstick was beautiful as well, and I'm not biased because my middle name is rose, but the roses made this product really stand out.

Quay Australia sunglasses

I, like pretty much everyone else on the planet right now, am obsessed with marble. My background in blog pictures is marble, my laptop cover is marble, my chopping board is marble, even my toothbrush holder is - you guessed it - marble. So as soon as i saw these Quay Australia sunnies in a marble print I snapped them up right away, and I'm in love with them, I have a tortoiseshell pair of Quay sunglasses in the same shape 'My Girl' and I love the shape, and instant kick of cool they add to an outfit.

The Experimenter bath bomb
My love for lush has been completely reawakened recently - you cant beat a colourful, bubbly bath after a stressful day! My fave things are the Comforter bubble bar, Candy Mountain bubble bar and Rose Bombshell bath bomb. The bath bomb left beautiful petals in my bath along with a sweet rose scent, the comforter bubble bar smells of Ribena which is very comforting and uplifting and the Candy Mountain bubble bar smells of candyfloss which is delightful for someone like me with a sweet tooth! The bubble bars always leave my skin feeling silky and smooth which is definitely an added bonus!

Boozy Cow

Boozy Cow is 100% my fave place to eat in Aberdeen, I'm yet to try something these I don't like! The burgers are seriously juicy and full of flavour, the milkshakes are to DIE for and the fries have a slight kick to them which makes them completely more-ish. They do a weekly milkshake and burger as well so theres an excuse to go more often to try the specials... The Oreo milkshake and Maple Bacon burger are my dream team though.

Spectra Aberdeen
From the 11th - 14th of Feb there were several light installations in Union Terrace gardens for the Spectra light festival, from rainbow walls to big spheres of fire to bouncy light up blocks - it was beautiful to look at and great fun to experience.

Soap and Glory Highlight stick
Soap and Glory highlighter after 5 hours wear
THIS HIGHLIGHTER IS THE ONE. If you want perfectly glowing cheekbones then look no further, I set it with a powder highlighter for added oomph but even alone it looks seriously on point - and its a steal at £6!!!! A definite dupe for the NARS Copacabana multiple which is £30. Im 100% going to be trying out more Soap and Glory products ASAP.

February really has been the month of flowers, I was pretty ill at the start of Feb so Ryan bought me some beautiful carnations which cheered me up wonderfully, and are still going strong now. Then later in the month he surprised me once again with this beautiful bunch of roses and lilly's which brighten my room up and make me smile whenever I see them, just look how vibrant the colours are!

Maggi Italian Herb chicken
This is such a random addition but honestly these little pouches make an AMAZING meal, I use them to cook chicken breasts - which stay so moist - and serve them with potatoes and veg - super quick and simple meal which is always handy when your a student! Give these a go, theres a huge array of flavours so your guaranteed to find something you like.

Thanks for Reading,
Annabelle X
