Hair Update: Balayage

I've always played it pretty safe with my hair - never dyed it or gone for a crazy hairstyle, but recently I decided I wanted to experiment a little. After combing through endless pictures of hair online (pun intended) I decided that balayage was subtle enough not to scare me whilst still promising a new and exciting look.

I decided that I'd use Toni and Guy as I've had my hair styled by them before and was very pleased with the result.

Balayage can be defined as different shades being lightly swept through the hair with no harsh lines, giving the appearance of a natural sun kissed look to the hair, it also grows out very naturally so requires minimal upkeep - which is ideal when your lazy like me!

My experience
I would highly recommend Toni and Guy Aberdeen for Balayage, the stylist I had was really thorough and talked me through every step of the process and made sure I was happy with the dyes used, I chose warm caramel and blonde shades. I was also constantly offered tea and coffee which is always ideal! The total cost was £95 which is pretty good for the level of service I received and the overall result.
