My go to Make-up Palettes

Make-up palettes are one of my favourite investments to make as you get a variety of products, in a compact easy to travel with box. These Palettes are the best I've found so far...
1. Charlotte Tilbury - The Dolce Vita
Possibly the most beautiful palette I own, both the colours and the packaging are beautiful. The colours are wonderful for making blue eyes pop and I cant wait to use it with a tan in Summer. The glitter gold shade and the rust shade are especially beautiful and unique for creating a lovely golden bronze smokey eye. I cant wait to try more products from Charlotte Tilbury as they are gorgeous and amazing quality.
I got mine from Net-a-Porter for £38

2. Urban Decay - The Naked Palette
As you can probably see from the battered packaging and the fact I've hit pan on several shades this is my most used palette. I love the shades and the buttery soft texture of the eyeshadows however the packaging isn't the best as the lid doesn't close that firmly and the velvet gets dirty pretty easily. My favourite shades are Sidecar, a beautiful sparkly taupe, Half Baked, a shimmery gold and Buck a matte, warm toned brown. This palette may be fairly expensive but for the amount of shadows you get, and for how long the palette will last you, its pretty good value, especially since it also comes with a double ended brush.
You can pick this up from Feel Unique for £38.

3. NARS - Virtual Domination Palette
Everything about this palette is WOW from the packaging to the shades of blush, to the quality of the bronzer and blushers. NARS are famous for their beautiful finely milled powders and these are no exception, the Laguna bronzer is amazing for both contouring and bronzing up the skin, as you can see I've already hit pan...I'm not the biggest fan of the shimmery highlight shade but used as eyeshadow it looks amazing. The other blushes are all beautiful on the skin and last all day.
Unfortunately this palette was limited edition for Christmas, however you can still pick up the Pink shimmery blush shade in Deepthroat (I know...) the highlight shade in Miss Liberty and the Laguna bronzer from Space NK.

4. Smashbox - Full Exposure Palette
This palette would be perfect for anyone who is just getting into make up as it comes with a double ended brush and a variety of both matte ad shimmery shades, and an instruction book on how to create everything from a smokey eye to a simple everyday look. Its hard to find palettes with so many matte shades so this is perfect if thats what your looking for. The colours are all very highly pigmented and buttery soft to apply, and the palette comes with a free mini mascara which is really good.
You can pick this up from Boots for £37.

5. MAC Palette
This palette is my baby, I chose all the shades myself and it took over a year for me to collect all the different shades but I love the end result (except from the shimmery blue shade that I haven't used since S2 when everyone seemed to wear blue eyeshadow?! those were odd times) I'll go through all the colours I put together and theres a blogpost about my favourite shades here. L-R starting at the first row is Shroom, Malt, All That Glitters, Woodwinked, Amber Lights, Mulch, Swiss Chocolate, Cranberry, Sketch, Moons Reflection, Club, Satin Taupe, Concrete and Carbon. Its quite expensive to complete so you can buy the eyeshadows individually or create a smaller palette but if your really into your MAC shadows it will cost you around £160 for the palette and all the individual eyeshadows to fill it, alternatively you can buy ready made 15 pan eyeshadow palettes from MAC for £65 in warm toned and cool toned shades.

Thanks for reading, what are your favourite make-up palettes?
